There is an opening for a lady junior accountant / all rounder at a small accounting practice in Fourways / Broadacres.
Job requirements:
- Be well groomed
- Have great communication skills - read, write and speak in English
- Have a qualification or part qualification in accounting or tax
- Have some experience in bookkeeping
- Own transport and preferably live in Fourways or very close
- Working knowledge of SARS returns, efiling, & easyfile
- CIPC, COIDA, Ufiling and secretarial tasks
- MS Office - Outlook & Excel
- Sage One, Xero, Caseware, or Draftworx
- Salary for this role is not flexible and is between R6,000 and R8,000 per month depending on ability and experience.
- Bonuses are paid regularly on project work, and average around R3,000 per month.
- Increases are determined by value of output and loyalty to the company
Job responsibilities:
- Complete bookkeeping on the accrual basis in Sage One or Xero
- Full Payroll - payslips, leave days, EMP201
- SARS returns on efiling
- COIDA and Ufiling
- Bank recons
- Supplier and Customer recons
- Debt collection for clients - email and over the phone
Additional tasks:
- Driving for collection and delivery of clients, documents, etc (own car essential)
- Going to SARS
- Any other support task as required
