International SOS has many offshore opportunities for nurses with this experience looking to return or indeed gain experience in the Middle East.
Position Details Follow
OFFSHORE positions
- These are based on a work schedule of 5 weeks offshore, followed by 2 weeks onshore, followed by 3 weeks off duty.
- Work days per calendar year equate to approximately 231 on duty days
- Accommodation is provided
- Two economy flight tickets home per year are provided.
- Remuneration will be paid in local currency, with a set monthly payment applied.
- Opportunity to work off duty is an option.
- Required trainings such as ACLS, ITLS and BOSIET will be paid for by the company based on the suitability of each applicant.
Will vary per client, however will be comprise one of the below:
- Double Occupancy room
- Rented flats with cooking facilities / washer / dryer
- Wi-Fi in some accommodations.
- Previous working experience of minimum 2 years in the Middle East is highly desirable (includes Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Cyprus, Turkey and GCC)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in either a clinical or hospital environment is required. 3 years of which must be in an ER or ICU or CC environment.
- Be medically registered in country of origin or other.
- Speak good English
- Be the holder of valid certifications such as ACLS, ITLS and for offshore BOSIET would be beneficial
- Hold a valid passport
- Be fully COVID vaccinated (as per client requirements)
