Online sales consultant


In the Employee’s position your duties and responsibilities will be as follows (this is not an exhaustive list and shall include any instructions given from the Employee’s superiors as well as ad hoc duties):
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls & emails
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Online sales are any sale transacted online via the Security Hyperstore website, Bid or buy, TakeAlot, Price Check or any other online channels. Walk in sales or sales generated via leads whereby payments are completed via eft, cash or in store will not be considered as online sales - such sales will be placed on “online” sales rep code.
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
• Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
• Perform effective online demos to prospects
• Ensure all prices are up to date on & websites
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
• Cross sell products
• Perform online sales activities to achieve company sales objectives, helping the store to remain profitable.
• Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally
• Work independently or in a team to achieve monthly sales quota
• Develop sales strategies and determine sales forecast and projections
• Stay abreast with online marketing trends and competitors
• Ensure all new products are uploaded to website and all other online marketing channels
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about product information and promotions
• Assessment and repairs of paintball markets, air pistols booked in for repairs via any of the branches
• Ensure websites are up to date with current trends
• Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop sales strategies and determine sales forecast and projections.
• Identify, contact and recruit potential clients
• Prepare sales presentations
• Modify sales materials and strategies to suit each client’s needs
• Promote advertising and marketing materials and strategies
• Create and maintain client online accounts
• You are responsible for keeping the website updated with the existing inventory and current prices.
• Helping people find the best item(s) for their needs and explaining the benefits.
• Drives Internet traffic into the store, making appointments for interested customers, and continuously following up throughout the buying process
• Custom build product lists to support editorial and email marketing, using knowledge of stock availability to ensure lists are commercial, yet maintaining the fashion credibility of the site.
• Assist in ensuring all products are beautifully and strategically merchandised across the site
• Regular auditing of available product online to ensure it is appropriately represented with the customer in mind.
• Monitor stock levels and key deliveries to ensure products are attractively presented across prime product locations
• Liaise with merchandising, editorial, press and production to merchandise the site to maximize sales
• Ensure all orders are dispatched timeously.
• Generate reports as and when requested by management.
• Any other reasonable duty or functions that may be allocated to you from time to time.
