We are looking for a Production Manager to join our highly capable engineering team and run our production facility in Observatory, Cape Town.
Job requirements:
- Must be passionate about process improvement.
- Must have great attention to detail and be able to supervise and manage factory staff.
- Innovative in one's thinking, able to see the bigger picture while being knowledgeable in production theory.
- Must have worked with MRP systems previously.
- A degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering or Production Management will be an advantage.
Job responsibilities:
- Setting daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Providing feedback to clients on order delivery dates.
- Managing procurement and inventory.
- Managing the Production Controller as well as Stores Person.
- Supervising factory staff and driver.
- Overall responsibility for the MRP system ensuring accuracy is established and maintained.
- Provide production reports to management.
- Establish methods for production improvement.
