Project Manager M&E
SM Healthcare Placements is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Project Manager M&E in Durban, Kwazulu Natal for an exciting role within an International NGO in the health care field.
To support the management of Monitoring and Evaluation activities. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring and evaluation including implementation plans, overseeing staff, data quality, drafting and updating M&E plans, reviewing data, reporting and operations research. This position will also provide logistics and planning support to the clinical teams. The incumbent will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders and support capacity building activities for data management and M&E for the DOH and staff with a focus on data utilisation.

The following are the qualifications, experience, knowledge and attributes requirements:
Education, Training and Experience
- Relevant Degree or diploma (preferably Master’s level)
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills
- MER Framework development
- Ability to handle a varied, busy and pressurized work load.
- Drivers licence
- Must be willing to travel internationally at short notice and must have valid passport
- 4 years’ experience in M&E/Research.
- Previous management, training and mentoring of staff.
- Data management & analysis software.
- M&E training.
Key performance areas
- Oversee project M&E activities.
- Project planning
- Data analysis and utilization.
- Conduct quality assurance and improve the quality of data.
- Training & capacity building for M&E team & clinical staff.
- Provide technical support to District DOH & Provincial DOH on M&E and data utilization.
- Staff management
- Effective self-management and performance ownership.
