Job Description & Summary

To provide an efficient and accurate executive administrative and operational support service to the Assurance CIPS department and partner/s for the smooth operation of the business.

Relevant Degree / Diploma

Experience:

Minimum 5-10 years administrative support within a professional services firm, or similar environment.

Responsibilities of role:

A large portion of the role will be to provide operational support to the team. Some of those activities are included below: Downloading of engagement risk reports for the team - circulating and attending to queries raised.

Further responsibilities include:

Managing client deliverables with various audit teams.

Liaising with key stakeholders (audit committee chairs, non executives and external vendors) if necessary.

Providing support to audit teams regarding the collation of audit reports and financials, where required.

Liaising with I&D team, SAICA team and HC team on deliverables, meetings & projects.

Ensuring that the correct signing convention is used when signing off audit letters/opinions.

Keeping abreast of media updates relating to a particular client and keeping the team updated.

Training, upskilling PAs and ensure correct/detailed communicating is provided to various PAs.

Designing, implementing and monitoring new processes to ensure all administrative tasks are completed.

Decisions, made through analysis, of best process, routine or system to get the job done.

Meet and orientate new joiners to the firm and to the team.

Process contractors invoices (submit time on Oracle, complete requisition and send to finance for payment).

Client Billing requests when required.

Ensure payments are made for membership and training fees.

Manage bursary and study requests and approvals.

Manage leave reconciliation and balance report.

Coordinate great place to work initiatives and activities.

Other secretarial, admin, and operational support tasks.

Ability to communicate with all levels of staff in PwC and our clients, including executives.

Solid PC/Windows skills with the ability to learn new applications quickly.

Microsoft Office and or Google suite.
