VACANCY: Technical Innovation Specialist
To perform these functions, incumbent will need to have:
- Matric with a pass in mathematics and science, and an aptitude for science.
- Additionally a tertiary degree in Textiles, Polymer Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Laboratory textile testing experience
- Be au fait with olefin, ester, amide and bast fibres
- Be au fait with textile manufacturing - woven and non woven
- Be au fait with chemical and physical finishing of textiles
- Be au fait with basic physics
- Be extroverted when measured on the MBTI.
- Be proficient in English
- Be in possession of a valid code 8 drivers license
- Be a team player, and be able to work under pressure
- Be able to travel at short notice
Due the high technical nature of this position, An aptitude test will need to be completed prior to final selection.
