Terms of Service


Welcome to www.jobin.co.za ("Jobin"). These Terms of Use, the Rules for Posting, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and all policies posted on our site set out the terms on which we offer you access to and use of our site, services, applications and tools (collectively “Services”).

All policies are incorporated into these Terms of Use. You agree to comply with all the below when accessing or using our Services. By accessing the Services, you are agreeing to the following terms, which are designed to make sure that the Services work for everyone. Should you not agree to these terms, or any update or change thereto as dealt with below, you should not access or use Jobin. You affirm that you are either 18 years of age or older or possess the necessary consents to agree to these terms.

Jobin is provided to you by Dirba.lt UAB, registered in Lithuania (company registration code: 303568356), also referred to below as "Jobin", "we", "us" or "our". This policy is effective 1 January 2022.

Terms of Use

As a condition of your use of Jobin (including Jobin.co.za and its related websites, services, applications and tools) you agree that you will not:

  • violate any laws;
  • violate the Rules for Posting;
  • post any threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent material;
  • post or otherwise communicate any false or misleading material or message of any kind;
  • infringe any third-party right;
  • distribute spam, chain letters, or promote pyramid schemes;
  • distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm Jobin or the interests or property of Jobin users;
  • impose or contribute to imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of Jobin;
  • copy, modify, or distribute any other person's content without their consent;
  • use any robot spider, scraper or other automated means to access Jobin and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;
  • harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
  • copy, modify or distribute rights or content from the Jobin site, services, applications or tools or Jobin's copyrights and trademarks;
  • harvest or otherwise collect information about users, including email addresses, without their consent
    bypass measures used to prevent or restrict access to Jobin;
  • sell any counterfeit items or otherwise infringe the copyright, trademark or other rights of third parties.

You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to Jobin and any consequences that may result from your post. We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse or delete content that we believe is inappropriate or breaching the above terms. We also reserve the right at our discretion to restrict a user's usage of Jobin either temporarily or permanently, or refuse a user's registration. If we believe that you are breaching these Terms of Use in any way and/or behaving suspiciously on the Jobin websites, services, applications or tools, we may, at our discretion, inform other Jobin users that have been in contact with you and recommend that they exercise caution.

Rules for Posting

As a condition of your use of Jobin you agree that you are at least 18 years of age.

At Jobin, we strive to ensure that the site is as clean, friendly and as usable as possible for our Jobin community. Ads that fall outside of the Rules for Posting stated here, or, our Jobin Terms of Use, may be removed from the site.

You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to Jobin and any potential consequences that may result from your post.

We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse or remove content, or those parts thereof, that we believe is inappropriate or breaching our Terms of Use. We may, at our discretion, remove ads, put ads on hold or make minor changes thereto, when they do not comply with the Rules of Posting.

General Reasons for Ad Removal / Ads Being Placed on Hold or Minor Changes Made, Include:

  • Ads that report / rant about potentially fraudulent or inappropriate ads, or policy violations. Please report ads via the "report ad" function located within each ad, or, Contact Us with ad details (ad id, email address, etc.)
  • Ads outside of Terms of Use
  • Removal of personal information from an ad
  • Duplicate of ad you’ve posted, or multiple ads in different locations
  • Duplicate accounts - Creating multiple accounts for the sole purpose of duplicating ads is not permitted
  • Posted under the wrong category (you must choose the single most relevant category for your ad)
  • Not entering your contact details through the means provided by the site (for example as part of an overlay, logo or watermark)
  • Entering information in incorrect fields (you must use the fields provided), or, not completing all the fields
  • Ads posted in a language other than English. We only accept ads in English; it’s acceptable however, to include a translation of your ad in another language in addition to English
  • No overseas ads accepted - Jobin is only for local use
  • No website links to other property / job / classified or auction sites, and / or such other sites that we may deem to be inappropriate
  • Not descriptive enough (Ads that do not provide enough detail will be removed as this makes for a bad browsing experience)
  • Appears to be a copy of another ad posted on Jobin (you may not copy another users ads; your ad must be original)
  • Not providing images of the goods at the time of listing when expressly requested to do so
  • Images which are unsuitable for the purpose (Example: too small, hand drawings, word art, etc.)
  • Images that are used to emulate features offered by Jobin
  • Editing purposes (typos, duplicate keywords, etc.)
  • Inappropriate language
  • Inappropriate photos / images
  • Discriminatory on race / religion / nationality / gender / sexual orientation / disability
  • Using Jobin’s reply system to send unsolicited replies to users
  • Jobin reserves the right to remove any postings that we feel are irrelevant to the Jobin Community, with or without notice.

There are several reasons why an Ad may have been removed from the site. If this occurs, the ad may be suspended temporarily (factor dependent) until reviewed; we check reported ads as quickly as we can.

Provided that your ad hasn't breached any Rules for Posting listed here, or the Jobin Terms of Use, it should be back up again shortly, generally within a few hours.

Ads reported to us, identified internally as inappropriate, or found to be in breach of our Rules for Posting or Terms of Use, will be removed from the site.

In most cases we email to confirm that your ad has been removed and if possible, provide you with an opportunity to resubmit. Please remember to check your junk / spam folders. If your junk / spam settings are set at high, Jobin emails may not be delivered to the spam / junk folders at all; please consider adding Jobin to your safe senders list if possible.

If you feel your ad has been removed in error, please let us know by sending as an email and we'll be happy to help.

Payment & Refund Policy

The following Payment & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all users and describes how your payments are made to Dirba.lt UAB for services and promotions provided on the Jobin.co.za site (all of the foregoing, collectively, “Services”).

By using the Services, you are accepting the terms, conditions and policies described in this Policy, as may be amended from time to time. Each time you use the Services and/or pay for a Service on the Jobin.co.za site, you agree and expressly consent to the following.


If you are under the age of 18 you need your parent or guardian to be involved in order to make any payments to Jobin. All payments made by you to Jobin are subject to Jobin Terms of Service.

Credit. You can purchase credits (“Credit”) using any payment method made available to you by Jobin. You agree that you are not relying on the future availability of any feature or product offered through the Service in agreeing to or making payments hereunder.

Credit Balance. Credit Balance is the amount of money that remains at your Jobin account after you used the Services at Jobin. When you intend to use the Service, you must ensure that the Credit Balance of prepayment money received from you by Jobin is in credit. The amount of such prepayments is at your sole discretion. The Service will be made available to you after the payment is received by a bank account of Jobin.

Foreign Currency. If you pay with foreign currency, you agree that the amount you are eventually credited may vary as a result of foreign currency conversion policies of our third-party payment processors, which you can find at the relevant website or location where you make the actual purchase.

Third Party Payment Processors. We use the services of third parties to process your payments and we require that these third parties take the appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your personal data and traffic data and to comply with relevant laws. Please review the terms of use and privacy policies of those third parties before providing your banking or payment information.

Payment Through Third Party Services. When you make a purchase within the Jobin Site through third parties, your purchase is also subject to the terms of such third party (including with respect to payment terms, refunds, etc.), and you should read such applicable terms before you decide to complete the purchase. You agree to abide by any relevant terms of service or other legal agreement that governs your use of a given payment processing service and/or method. You also acknowledge that a bank or credit card company may refuse or cancel a transaction and freeze funds up to 14 business days as per the bank/credit card company policy. You also agree to the sharing of information between us and such third-party payment processor for billing related activity.

Fees and Taxes. You are solely responsible for all carrier data plans, Internet fees, and other fees and taxes associated with your access to and use of Jobin Services.

Using the Service on mobile will use some of the data allowance available on the data package to which you have subscribed with your mobile network operator as the case may be. Out-of-country usage may in any event lead to significantly higher costs than regular usage, and you are solely responsible for keeping yourself informed and paying for possible roaming and other applicable charges levied by your mobile network operator.

Jobin may refuse or cancel a transaction at any time in our sole discretion, if we believe it violates Jobin Terms of Service or this Payment & Refund Policy or to prevent financial loss. In cases of fraud or illegal acts, Jobin may cancel or block your Credit Balance.


Except as provided by law, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Taxes are non-refundable. If you believe that Jobin has charged you in error, you must contact Jobin within 30 days of such charge. No refunds will be given for any transaction which is more than 30 days old. When you purchase any digital content or services from Jobin, any right you may have to withdraw from or cancel the purchase will be terminated once the digital content is delivered to you upon your request, and you will not be entitled to claim any refund, except where you believe Jobin has charged you in error. If you use third party services to purchase any of our Services, such purchase is subject to the refund terms of the applicable third party (including with respect to payment terms, refunds, etc.).

Jobin reserves the right to refuse a refund request if it reasonably believes or suspects:

  • that you are trying to unfairly exploit this refund policy, for example, by making repetitive refund requests in respect of the same product or feature, or by trying to receive a refund for a non-refundable credit (such as a reward);
  • that you are in breach of the Jobin Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy;
  • that you are using any of our products fraudulently or that your user account is being used by a third party fraudulently;
  • that you purchased your credit through a third party service and the terms of such third party do not allow such refund. This refund policy does not affect any of your statutory rights to pursue a claim.

For all refunds due to an error in your payment amount please email info@jobin.co.za quoting your company address, full name, contact number, and reason for requesting a refund. The accounts department will deal with your query at the earliest possible opportunity and may ask for some additional details to process your refund.

Billing Disputes. Any billing disputes raised by you to Jobin will be settled in accordance with the Jobin Terms of Service. A pending billing dispute does not exempt you from timely paying any undisputed amounts that you owe.
