Audit senior/Audit supervisor is required in Eastern Pretoria.
Job requirements:
- Recently completed articles (at medium sized firm) and CTA
- Must have had Maths and Accounting in Matric with a pass of 70% or higher
- Must come from an auditing firm specialising in PRIVATE companies. Please do not apply if you worked on government entities
- Strong Caseware and IFRS knowledge
- Experience in managing staff
- Wants to remain in audit profession
- Own transport essential (including valid SA driver’s license)
- Have a consistently good academic record;
- Be fluent in English and have good communication skills;
- Be motivated and able to work independently;
- Have good time management skills;
- Be able to work under pressure;
Job responsibilities:
- Planning and managing audits;
- Performing high-level audit work;
- Reviewing work performed by trainees and audit files prior to presentation to partners;
- Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines;
- Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously;
- Managing, training and evaluating trainees in terms of SAICA requirements;
- Compliance with all accounting, auditing and other technical issues; and
- Supporting audit partners on all accounting, auditing and tax matters.
