Looking for a bookkeeper/junior accountant in Scottburgh, South Coast .
Job requirements:
- Degree/Certificate in Accounting
- Microsoft office skills - you must be excellent in Excel
- Experience: +2 years in Accounting / Bookkeeping
- Pastel experience a must
- CIPC, TAX and VAT knowledge
- Drivers licence and own car essential
Job responsibilities:
- Delivering daily, weekly, monthly reports for stakeholders.
- Capturing data in Pastel.
- Creating Invoices on Pastel.
- In charge of certain Reconciliations including Debtors, Creditors, Bank, etc.
- Preparing Financial Statements.
- Submitting VAT and Tax Returns.
- Keeping the statutory files up to date including ensuring and capturing Minutes of the Meetings by Directors/trustees.
- Statutory work - CIPC and trusts etc.
