We are a busy commercial/retail printer in the City Bowl with a varied customer base ranging from large corporates to individuals. We require the services of an individual, driven by customer service, whose primary function will be as a print estimator on incoming requests. The candidate will have the following attributes:
- An understanding of both litho and digital printing processes and be proficient with the associated terminology. Prior estimating experience is not necessary.
- Computer literate, and be able to work accurately and manage problem solving.
- Understand costing and the related calculations.
- Ability to interact confidently with customers, suppliers and fellow employees.
- Ability to interpret customer requests and convert them into a spec that can be quoted on.
- The successful applicant will need to learn our full product range and the company's systems and procedures to be able to give our customers the best options possible
- Have at least a matric qualification.
- Participate actively as a team member, and work unsupervised, in a dynamic environment.
- Have a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting customer expectations.
