Financial accountant is required in eMakhazeni / Belfast, Mpumalanga.
Job responsibilities:
- The production of accurate management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, including the comparison of actual to budget results and full explanations of variances
- The compilation of annual budgets and monthly foreacasts
- Cash flow projections
- General ledger reconcilations
- VAT submissions and statutory returns
- Payment of foreign creditors and dealing in foreign exchange transactions
- Management, monitoring and reporting on company's BEEE status
- Quarterly and monthly reporting to Group
- Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Income tax calculations, payments and returns
- Review and sign off of daily, weekly and monthly trade creditor/COD payments
- Timeous reporting and strict adherence to deadlines
- Staff management
- Ad hoc projects
Job requirements:
- Must be CA (Sa)
- 3 years post articles exp in manufacturing environment
- Commensurate 3 years experience with particular emphasis on:
- BEEE - Experience and knowledge of legislation
- Dealing in foreign exchange, FEC's, coillars and other measures
- Export and import legislation
