My name is leandra ziyambi and I am 19 years old . I am a Zimbabwean by nationality but I have been staying here in south Africa since 2012. I completed my matric last year with good results . I had applied for the university of Johannesburg and wits for teaching and/or geology and was admitted in both universities but they required a study permit . I then went to Zimbabwe to apply for a study permit but got rejected due to insufficient funds they said that I do not have a bursary to fund my studies hence they can not hand me the permit . So I have been looking for a bursary ever since . The purpose of this letter is to express my difficult experiences I have encountered and subsequently apply for a job as a teacher assistant at one of your institutions in your district . I am very passionate when it comes to teaching . In the year 2019 I started helping other learners in my school with mathematics and I proceeded helping until grade 12 . I have better communication skills and I can explain things clearer . I am Patient and easy to talk to which makes it easier for learners to ask me questions where they do not understand . I have developed a flexible mind over the years , by that I refer to seeing situations in different perspectives or in other people’s eyes this allows me to detect the main problem that a learner experiences and I come up with a solution. I create scenarios to explain things that are considered difficult by learners to make it easier for the brain to grasp . Other than scenarios I also developed strategies and techniques to help learners to understand a subject. I believe in building a stronger foundation for better results and with that being said I would like to teach grade eights and nines so that they grow with better understanding to how things actually work and how things are done. I can also help the grade 12 since they are already at the finishing line . I experienced a lot of difficulties in my upbringing but I never gave up I am still pushing , working towards my dreams and by the same token I would like to serve as an encouragement to those who also have challenges in their lives . I am fully aware of all the formalities and qualifications that I have to go through in order to qualify for this position but unfortunately I do not have access to them due to insufficient funds . If only I can get this opportunity , I will become an asset not only to your schools but to the rest of South Africa. It’s the little changes that makes the biggest impact. I promise to abide by my words and do my absolute best to change your results for the better .

I am a fast learner,passed my matric with Diploma.I am accurate and passionate. I am really energetic and great communicator. I am punctual,dependable and can be counted upon to finish what I started. I work well under pressure as I prepare for it before it comes. I try to stay calm as possible and focus to get the job done. I prioritize my responsibility so I have a clear idea of what is needed to be done. I am looking for any job where i can use my hands.eg ,packaging,cashier, cleaning etc. I can assure that If I get hired in any job, it will be a great platform to showcase my skills. I have experience as a freelance photographer, a private tutor, a sales consultant and a waitress. My fine arts background puts me in a unique position that I think can benefit all creative industries. My ability to communicate with students, and understand their emotional world is my strong point as a teacher. Students feel safe to discuss their problems with me and ultimately ask for guidance to solve a problem. Together we celebrate victories and find solutions for failures to help us improve and move forward.
